There are 30 beds in emergency/casualty, 6 beds in the casualty department's triage where patients are categorized according to priority treatment, and 24 beds in the emergency ward with 2 beds reserved exclusively for critical patients where ventilator, defibrillator, crash card, and all emergency medications are available. There is central oxygen supply and central suction facilities in the ward. There are monitor, pulse oxymeter, infusion pumps, and glucometers. Round the clock there are Casualty Medical Officers assisted by the specialist, with trained nurses and ward boys & Ayas in each shift. There is ABG machine for blood gas analysis exclusively for emergency department.
